Does all the items come with a warranty?

All the equipment that is available at Carmencita Cameras has been previously owned, therefore we cannot offer any warranty that goes beyond the return period policy.

We put our best efford to inspect and repair, if needed, all the equipment that is available for purchase, but due the nature of the equipment it is not possible to offer a warranty for the equipment unless the original manufacturer warranty prevails.

Shutter Diagnose

All the camera bodies are inspected for acuraccy & consistency of shutter speeds faster than 1/30th of a second. Inside the package you will find a card by “Carmencita Shutter Doctor” that is proof of the test and exact shutter speeds that the equipment performed.

What happens if there is a problem during the return period?

Carmencita Cameras will offer you a full refund of the equipment if there is any issue caused by state or malfunction of the equipment.

The warranty does not cover failure due misuse or wrongly operating the equipment.

All cases will be inspected by a thrid party service that determines the nature of the problem in case of a dispute.

EU domestic shipping

All our shipping in the EU is done by DHL Express if the package is lighter than 3,5 Kg and tracked. Most destinations have a 24/48h transit unless you are located in a remote area.

All items are re-inspected before shipping so it can take a between 1-3 days from purchase to shippment.

Outside the EU shipping

Depending on where you are based your package will fly with either DHL or FedEx/TNT. We choose the best courier according to the destination country. Most destinations have a 48/72h transit unless you are located in a remote country or area..

Returns

How much does it cost?

Unless the product does not match the item description or is not in the condition stated, the buyer will cover the shipping costs back to the lab for the equipment to be fully inspected.

Otherwise the Carmencita Cameras will assume the shipping costs of the return.

How long do I have to return an item?

All products (NEW, MINT, NEAR MINT) are sold as previously owned equipment, they have a 21-day return period that begins when the customer receives the product.

How do I return or exchange?

You can send your item by any postal service or private courier of your choice. All packages need to be deliverd at Carmencita Cameras address. The responsability of the item belongs to the sender until there is proof that has been delivered to the correct address by the courier.
